After Brawn GP's great testing display, rivals of the team say they could dominate the first race of the 2009 season. Sir Frank Williams says, "They will disappear on the basis of what we have seen in testing," and that, "I just hope we can be up there, too."
Former world champion, Fernando Alonso came out and said "The times set by the Brawn cars in testing are impressive and suggest they will be racing at the front in Melbourne," though was still confident that there will be more surprises on the way.
Brawns veteran racing driver has also spoken out about the car ahead of Australia, he said "Just the driveability of the engine is a dream," he said. "Finally, when I accelerate, I have the feeling of knowing what to expect. The power is wonderfully manageable and predictable. I've been waiting for this car for such a long time."
So with that said, it seems the paddock is awaiting the race weekend to really see the true potential of each teams car. Hopefully, it will be a podium finish for the teams debut race.
